Re: Unlicensed Driver during RIDE Check, Help!

The letter would have also said you need to go into a MTO off and pay the re-instatment fee on the DL. A lot of people get caught like this. Get a DL suspension, pay the fine or wait the time and think that their DL is good to go. When in fact you need to go get it re-instated.

They are typed on the computer into the note section of the ticketing software. Unless something goes awry there is no more hand written notes for most traffic stops.

They are generated by hitting the print function.

And if you caused an accident by getting t-boned?

Snow and Ice are something that you can see and should adjust for. Many people pass the same stop sign and manage to stop in snow and ice.

The instrument actually gives a number between 0-.39, This is regarded as a pass
A is between 4-99 This number is not returned just the letter. (technically 80 and above is threshold for charges but in Ontario this still returns an A)
F is 100 and above = trip to approved breathalyzer

Re: Picked UP disclosure for trial..Improper ?

If you ask for a stay from the JP when you are called up to plead and you get an adjournment, your new court date will most likely be one on that JP's next scheduled court dates and not the date that the officer has his/her cases scheduled for (maybe adds another 2 to 4 months). That would reduce the chance of the officer showing up as they would ...

Well you won't get speedo calibration record. Unless it was used to pace you it is not relevant. Disclosure is not a fishing expedition. It has to be relevant to the charge. Officers training record you won't get. You can ask the officer if he is qualified and they will testify under oath yes.

Hell here we are not even given a training certificate ...

Here you would be looking at a $5000 fine cut to $2500 for the no insurance in a plea deal. The rest MAY be dropped based on the total circumstances. However the fact that you stole someones sticker may negate the deal,

Mis conduct for not patrolling? Umm perhaps he was on his lunch break, Perhaps he was on his breaks. You are allowed to socialize even at work.

Good luck with that. Make sure you post here when they tell you the complaint is unfounded and vexatious and therefore dismissed.

What exactally is your complaint...You were parked in a fire route he gave you a ticket. It does not say no parking between such and such hours. It is 24 hours...So while you may have wanted a break he had no obligation to give it.

Seems like he did his job..If you are unhappy with that to bad. You parked there..

other than a fail to surrender charge, open liquor is very easy offence to prove in court. Located a open 341ml bottle of Coors Light. I observed 1cm depth of beer in bottle.

No demerit points for a LLA offence.

Do you have to provide the open liquor(evidence?)

The driver is not charged and the owner of the car is charged. NO demerit points.

And so far as long as the driver has the correct plate and can ID the car somewhat it sticks. (Personally I have not seen one won but I am sure it happens)

Re: School Bus Driver's Report and 6 demerit points

There are two different charges.

One is for the owner of a vehicle that is identified passing a school bus(bus driver's report) . In this one the driver is not identified so the owner gets the fine. This carries the same monetary fine but no demerit points

The second is for the driver when they are stopped passing a school bus.( such as a ...
