Honestly I did not know there were red light cameras in Hamilton. Is there a way to get the fine reduced? I am a small business owner who doesn't have a steady income, so $325 is quite steep for me. If I have to pay the whole amount, can I pay in installments? Does it matter that the Date of Deemed Service on the ticket is November 16, 2010. I received it today, November 15. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! :?

Hi all, Just an FYI...I went today to court, talked to the Justice of the Peace and got my fine reduced to $125! :D An ironically, in today's Hamilton Spectator the front page article was in regards to Red Light Cameras. I've learnt to be more cautious, so all the best to those that received one!
