Will hiring a lawyer make the judge more inclined to think that you are guilty vs not hiring a lawyer?
Does hiring a lawyer make you look guilty to the judge?
Re: Does hiring a lawyer make you look guilty to the judge?
Short answer is they don't care. If anything, it makes their lives easier not having to explain every little thing to someone who doesn't know what's going on. A JP will not hesitate for a second to recommend you seek out representation.
