Re: License Plate cover - OPP / Police in General
I wonder if it's different since you're HSD and I assume you have a workstation in your vehicle to do simple checks. The guys here call all plates into the com centre - parked, rolling, traffic stop, etc., and the dispatcher runs it through CPIC and ISS. I'd say a comment along the lines of "your marker was run yesterday morning by Peel, nothing ...

Re: Charged 182 (2) - NO PARKING SIGN
the "drivers handbook" you refer to is NOT the law, the HTA and associated regulations are laws!
HTA 182(2) is a correct charge for any sign referred to in HTA OREG 615
NO parking signs are in the HTA OREG 615
- a NO parking sign with 2 arrows = prohibits parking in both directions

radar antenna usually faces both directions of traffic....he would have followed you northbound to catch you at some point, probably clocked your increasing speed prior to him, not after

Re: License Plate cover - OPP / Police in General
There is no record on the police system of each stop or incident. It is only on CPIC, which I think lasts for 7 days.
Only way a record gets on police system is a traffic complaint, then the officer has to tell the dispatcher to physically check the in house system which maybe i hear once every 2 months.

throwing this out there....regardless of how many lanes, length of vehicle, speed, weather etc.....bottom line is if the other vehicle was stopped in its appropriate lane and was struck, therefore it was not a safe turn..... to me, safe means not hitting anything

Re: DECEMBER 1 COURT DATE - HELP
He said he clocked me accelerating from 140 to 147 going north on the 416 but that would have been impossible since I saw him do a uturn from under an overpass which meant he was facing south and right after that he pulled me over.
so officer was facing south under an overpass and you are going north, obtains a speed and pulls out northbound ...

I do not deal with ORV on 400series hwys, but here is what I found with a quick search...

Re: 103.1 (2) on a Power-Assisted Bicycle
I am not that familiar with Charter law, but a lot of the ruling seem to be quite liberal in their interpretations. However this is a side issue to the original helmet charge, and largely irrelevent. He was a pedestrian walking his bike at the time of the ticket, he was not observed riding with no helmet..
