Re: H.I.D. Headlight Conversion Kits...

As far as the HTA goes, headlights are covered by the lumens they produce. However, I have noticed on my Mazda3 that the lights basically cut off at a certain height. All those lumens are tremendously focused, which is why they are so bright. Now the standard wattage for the ballist is 35, but that includes running the ballist as well, pretty much ...

Modify it so that a person does not lose their ability to goto work for a week. .....

Does not prevent them from going to work...use their legs, bicycle, carpool, bus....it's also better for the environment :)

The only guy that that drove the same route as me is no longer working here and 86 km one way is too far to walk. I suppose I could ...

thank you....I personally can not support the petition with both the items involved in there. A modified version I would be able to and probably a lot more support from others as well.

Modify it so that a person does not lose their ability to goto work for a week. I know that the local officers don't go out and look to lay this charge but if it ...

Re: Have never fought a ticket before....

I asked why he didnt drop it at all? The PO insisted I fight it. I replied I didnt have the time to get off work. He continued to insist I fight it.

The officer may have realized a mistake after he had written the ticket....The ticket is not logged into the system until the officer hands it over. The other point could be that he wanted some ...

But I don't agree entirely with the Liberty extended to Bus Drivers. Why is their word and judgment becoming a Convicting factor for the other drivers?

Most school bus drivers I ever had were not the most upstanding members of the community. Nice people, but grumpy due to the kids, me included, wanting to get to the end of their route. Not ...

Re: Don't ditch your Car, OR ELSE...

I think there should be room for police through a representative, whether it is the commissioner or chief of police to suggest to government laws that should be in place.

There are many issues not seen by people directly at the front line that police routinely see, then they think a new law is bad.

The government still has to discuss, debate ...

There is no room for a cop that wants to make the laws that he enforces. Having input is one thing, but creating and modifying, no.

I didn't find it that bad. Just the big A$$ signs when you come into town, and I mean BIG, that say they enforce the limit. If you are stupid enough to try it you're dumb enough to get caught.

Re: Stopping two cars

Another "angle".........If you, the officer, can't get a reading off the plate of a vehicle then you are told to aim at the headlight. Would an officer try to get the second vehicle with only the headlight, drivers side, and mistakenly sample the first car?

Re: Stopping two cars

A lidar doesnt send a constant beam, but a series of pulses. Theres a microprocessor inside the lidar which tries to make sense of all signals received from all those pulses. Its going to try to get an average speed and throw out what could be noise. What if it locks onto car1s speed and thinks car2s speed is noise?

The lidar sends out more than ...

Re: Stopping two cars

OK try this one: The ideallogy of the designer is that the plate is the target. Ideally it is the first thing hit, being at the front of the car. What happens when the plate is not the first thing to be hit??????????? That info is locked up in the designers head and won't be released due to the fact that it can be used by the other companies.

Re: Stopping two cars

You can still see that it is difficult to target the plate..... And like you said you can't see the beam even under alignment checks. The officer still does not know "exactly" where the beam is.......at a distance of 500 meters 1 degree is a lot, even 0.5 degrees of misalignment will cause this situation.

So we make it simple, if you are under 19 no drinky. Although, I still don't agree with age being a defining legal requirement. Numbers mean jack because we all know the boys at work who care about nothing but themselves. Not really the most mature people on the planet but they help to choose your leaders.......
