Speeding ticket and fail to display two plates ticket

Unread post by Reconsniper »

Hi

I got a ticket for speeding, which was reduced from 103, to 75 in a 60 zone - this i have no problem with and i was in the wrong and ill pay.

the second ticket i got tho was for failing to display two number plates - 7 (1) (b) (i)

however i have both licence plates, one placed on the rear mount, and the second on my front dash board - (this is visable) as i do not have a front mounting plate. also the second ticket has my name written incorrectly.

my question is, i want to fight the second one but pay the first, how do i do this..? there are 3 options on the back of the ticket - plea of guilty, plea of guilty - submissions as to penalty, or trial option???

please help and thank you

Just for info....plate in windshield does not cut it...

From the HTA on placement of licence plates ...."The number plates for a motor vehicle, shall be attached to and exposed in a conspicuous position on the front and rear of the motor vehicle
