G2 Road Test? Previous Experience Of 18 Years, Then Expired.

by: Charac on

My licence was expired for four years when I decided to renew my licence in Ontario. When I decided to renew my licence I accepted the fact that I had to start from the bottom without questioning anything. I came from out of province if that helps.

I wasn't given any credit for prior experience due to the rule that I needed 2 years of experience over the last 3 years. I didn't even provide or seek any evidence that I had prior driving experience.

I am now 6 months into my G2 after having 1.5 years of G1 experience. I honestly didn't drive much, nor very far as everything I did was within walking distance. I got dinged twice for driving without a fully fledged escort in that time both due to ride checks.

Is there any way to have my prior experience count towards getting my full G licence early?
