In Mississauga today managed to see an OPP bicycle waiting on an off ramp? What is the point of these really? Do they actually use them much. Went by the detachment i must have seen the weirdest looking OPP vehicle ever. It was a Huge White Honda Pilot 2006-2009 model. It was a big white vehicle, it did have a light bar on the top (led one), and all it said in black letters on the hood was enforcement or something? I have seen a marked F250 before doing radar/lidar but this takes the cake!! I guess perhaps it was a "boss" or "supervisor" who gets this vehicle and happened to be at the detachment when i went buy it?

Bicycle cops are very common in Toronto. Less common, I don't know if they have them anymore, was rollerblade cops. All a fleeing suspect had to do was find some stairs. Pearson Airport (Peel Regional Police) has segway cops. My personal favourite is the mounted units but those guys NEVER scoop up afterwards!!!

Yep, lots of road apples on Queen's Quay. Pleasant... Pretty effective, too, in downtown. The traffic congestion is so heavy they have usually no problem catching up. I've seen them do traffic stops, a little out of the ordinary blowing the whistle, but it seems to work. You're sure that's not an MTO Motor Carrier Enforcement vehicle?

Hello, got stopped today for rolling a stop sign. Ticket says failure to stop, but quotes hta 1361b.
Doesn't 1361b mean failure to yield?
Is this a fatal error? Or could it be amended at trial. How can I prepare a defence if I don't know if I'm defending the failure to stop or the failure to yield?
