Hi this is my first topic I was making left turn at Red light camera light. There was left turn signal when I was aproching intersection , but when I reached at intersection it turned solid green. So I stopped in middle of intersection to make left turn and waited of traffic from opp dir to clear. Light turned yellow but traffic was still coming and I didnt made left turn . When traffic stoped and i was about to make left turn , light turned red and camera infront of me flashes and blinded me . I havent got any ticket yet as it happens jus 3 -4 days ago and will take some time to process photos from camera. I am jus wondering if I will get ticket for that and if I can fight that ticket since it wasnt my fault . I was waiting for traffic to be cleared so that i should be safe. Plz advice me

If it (the flash) was in front of you it was for the other direction traffic. I saw a funeral escort going through one of those, the thing flashed 10 times. Cheers Viper1

Squishy posted a perfect example of how our system works. Red Light fail to Stop offences deal with the motorists "entering" intersection on red light without stopping. According to the given scenario, the vehicle has entered the intersection properly and was not required to stop at that time as the light was green. Yes, this ticket does not go on driver's abstract but still carries a hefty fine. In order for the prosecution to prove the allegations there has to be 3 photographs tendered in evidence. 1. Photo of the red light "displayed" before vehicle enters the intersection 2. Photo of the vehicle entering intersection on Red light 3. Photograph of the plate number (close up) Looks like you have a solid defence.

That is exactly my case, Is it a strong case? If so do i need a picture to show that there is a stop line and a picture to show that he could not see the stop line from where he was sitting?

Hello, got stopped today for rolling a stop sign. Ticket says failure to stop, but quotes hta 1361b.
Doesn't 1361b mean failure to yield?
Is this a fatal error? Or could it be amended at trial. How can I prepare a defence if I don't know if I'm defending the failure to stop or the failure to yield?
