It depends on your insurance company, ibc faq brochure says that +1 to +49kph is considered a minor offence and +50kph is considered a major offence; your insurance company can rate speeds differently... there might be more information on your insurance policy.
Insurance company doesn't care about points because they don't use them. Generally, you'd want to avoid any 50 and plus conviction because the difference between 49 and 50 can be huge. As already pointed out, it will depend on your insurance company and your current record.
