Hey guys, i recently recived a ticket for speeding 146km in 100km on the 115 HWY heading towards peterborough... The officer had reduced the fine to 129km and sent me on my way. I have filed the ticket for trial I was driving around 9.30-10pm clear,no fog,no rain, not much traffic. I was pulling a 2wheel utility box trailer what is my best plan of action to save myself the points/insurance increase. my courtdate is scheduled for DEC4th 2008 if i fight and loose, will i be charged for the 146km in 100km? thanks alot could use all the advice and help J
Also bring in about 40 friends who are to testify on your behalf as "expert witnesses." Point them out to the Prosecutor when trying to plea-bargain, along with your mountain of evidence. Have them also bring in a stack of books. Failing that, pay another one to distract the officer with a Boston Cream. On another note... except for getting the disclosure package, not much else you could've done. Sounds like you did just about everything right, from acting reasonably well at the roadside (why else would the officer have dropped it to 129), and in court (down to 119). Hopefully there won't be another need to fight a ticket for a while. :D

I'm hoping somebody can point me in the right direction to track down various radar gun error codes.

My husband was driving my car and passed a school bus with flashing lights. He did not realize this until he was past the bus. The driver honked at him but there were no cops nearby and he didn't get pulled over. I believe the driver or witnesses reported this and we got issued a…
