Used a file ticket service - received a fine in the mail

Unread post by method76 »

Hi

I used an online file ticket service, was planning on going to court. Paid and submitted online. I thought everything was fine. I received a "Notice of Fine and Due Date" in the mail. It seems that my online submission did not go through.

1) What can I do? I want a court date.

2) If there is something I can do and have to file at the court house, it is in Newmarket. I can't take a day off work to go there (I work and live in Toronto). Can I call someone?

Please let me know what I can do. I have a receipt for the payment of the online file ticket service as proof if that helps.

Thanks

I tried contacting them but they been slow to answer. I don't know what to do and I have to pay by October.
