Re: Delay till trial

Hello all,

Received a speeding 81 in a 60 zone contrary to HTA s.128 on April 16th.

Requested a trial.

Requested disclosure.

Written letter to crown 6 weeks later asking for early date, reiterating request for disclosure.

Notice of Trial arrived June 18, 2009.

Trial is scheduled for April Fools day (love that) - on April 1st, 2010.

Do I ...

Do to their ages, I would recommend using a paralegal service, Xcopper comes to mind. Their rendition of the events sound credible and the errors in the report would probably make the ticket null and void. Was there any damage??

Yes Sir there is, can you write the AG and the OPP and ask them to stop the jury rigging up in Barrie

Guess your not following this too closely....this practice has also been done by the Windsor Police, Thunder Bay Police.

And it is not jury rigging at all. An example of that would be putting people on the jury who have all had someone ...

The reason I asked about colour is that it makes a difference in the ability of the LIDAR gun to get a reading. The darker the car the closer to the gun it has to be in order for the gun to register the speed. Go back to physics and remember that black absorbs almost all light and white reflects all light....that's not the only factor but it is a ...

You raise a interesting question. How do you defend yourself if you cannot remember the incident? I am sure that the reconstruction team was there and they are good at their job, so you may be stuck with the current fine and points. You could try Xcopper, and see what they have to say.
