He's really just doing his job. We the public may not like it but it helps get the truth out.

No contact no foul, in my eyes at least. You mentioned the bags on the handle bars though, did you mention that to the officer? Just to be on the safe side, write down all the details you can remember so if the officer shows up again you can explain your side as well as possible.

If you stop and read the labels on most aftermarket accessories they will say "check local laws" or something close to that. Just because CT sells them does not make them legal.

As a female, this concerns me. I would not stop for an unmarked (as in Jeep, for instance) plainclothed *individual* attempting to pull me over. I would use a cellphone to call 911 or go to the nearest populated area or police station for my own safety.
