If you talk to the crown first then you take your chances. If you can come across as accurate then they will have little to argue and may drop the charge. Or you could take your chances with the JP.

No contact no foul, in my eyes at least. You mentioned the bags on the handle bars though, did you mention that to the officer? Just to be on the safe side, write down all the details you can remember so if the officer shows up again you can explain your side as well as possible.

If you stop and read the labels on most aftermarket accessories they will say "check local laws" or something close to that. Just because CT sells them does not make them legal.

When the car is produced it is allowed to read plus but not minus, otherwise the car manufacturer is at fault, tsk, tsk.Squishy wrote:Speedometers aren't accurate, especially at speeds of ~140 km/h. My car is Tan.
Trial is mid August.
If they both show up should I put all of my eggs in this basket?

I have heard of cases where the officer says " I pulled you over because your signal was flashing too fast" or similar and the JP tosses the case. Why officers don't just say they were checking documents is beyond me.admin wrote:Technically, you can be pulled over to see if your paper work is in order.

As a female, this concerns me. I would not stop for an unmarked (as in Jeep, for instance) plainclothed *individual* attempting to pull me over. I would use a cellphone to call 911 or go to the nearest populated area or police station for my own safety. If I cannot readily identify that the person attempting to pull me over is a police officer, I ...

btw, I didn't request anything in my first attempt... i was at the office of the prosecuter but was turned away.

Just a reminder that this is a traffic ticket forum. Unfortunately there are some bad apples out there and they always speak louder then the rest. We do strive to keep discussion here as fair as possible. My advise to you is to seek legal, lawyer, representation and try to avoid posting topics with "Police Abuse" as a title. Thank you.
