Reduction of fault in accident and transport to court if more than 300km.
So I am a subpoenaed witness in a drunk driving case that occurred in Nov.2017.
I now live more than 300 km from the court where the case is being heard.
I was supposed to appear on Feb. 25 2019 but flipped my car on my way there.
It being a single vehicle accident 100% fault was assigned to me.
1. Can I get fault reduced because I was worried about having a warrant out for my arrest?
2. Does the court have to provide a way for me to get there based on my distance from the court?

question 2: they may have a policy for reimbursement of costs or hotel depending on distance. Ask the crown
