trying to work out how this will go, this AM, I was at an intersection 4 lane, extreme left, is a filter for left turn, 2 middle for straight ahead extreme right, filter for right turn, I was in the right lane, turning right, there was a filter light it was green, there was no pedestrians on the crosswalk, no traffic coming from the left as I went forward I had a clear view although it was dark, in the lane I was turning into was no traffic, as I turned into the lane and completing the turn. I left a jolt from my drivers side Pulled in, my car had damage to the front part of the door on the other car, not even a scratch (CRX - mines a coupe bmw) there was a "dent" the size of a loonie, but no paint loss that I could see The lane I was pulling into was a 2 lane road, if the driver was turning right into it, she had a lane, but she hit me pulling into my lane ? I do have dashcam, but it was corrupted, had sound but no video (just looks like horizontal bars) been like that for a few days apparently. Any thoughts on how this could go

extreme right, filter for right turn,
I was in the right lane, turning right, there was a filter light it was green,
there was no pedestrians on the crosswalk, no traffic coming from the left
as I went forward I had a clear view although it was dark, in the lane I was turning into was no traffic, as I turned into the lane and completing the turn.

Didn't you have this same situation less than a year ago? If I'm understanding correctly, you made a right while another vehicle was making a left and instead of them staying in the left lane while completing their turn, they moved to the right and hit you? The issue is usually that most people here are looking to enter the plaza directly to the right so they immediately jump to the right lane instead of staying in the left, which is illegal. If that's the case, you're not at fault. Left turn, at intersection (6) Where a driver or operator of a vehicle intends to turn to the left into an intersecting highway, he or she shall, where the highway on which he or she is driving has marked lanes for traffic, approach the intersection within the left-hand lane provided for the use of traffic moving in the direction in which his or her vehicle is proceeding or, where it has no such marked lanes, by keeping immediately to the right of the centre line of the highway and he or she shall make the left turn by entering the intersection to the right of the centre line or its extension and by leaving the intersection in the left-hand lane provided for the use of traffic moving in the direction in which his or her vehicle is proceeding where the lane is marked or, where no such lane is marked, by passing immediately to the right of the centre line of the intersecting highway. R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 141 (6). Right turn at intersection (2) Where a driver or operator of a vehicle intends to turn to the right into an intersecting highway, he or she shall, where the highway on which he or she is driving has marked lanes for traffic, approach the intersection within the right-hand lane or, where it has no such marked lanes, by keeping immediately to the left of the right curb or edge of the roadway and he or she shall make the right turn by entering the right-hand lane of the intersecting highway where the lane is marked or, where no such lane is marked, by keeping immediately to the left of the right curb or edge of the roadway being entered. R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 141 (2).

Hey Bend, Sorry I'm not always here. YES sir, I was same junction, pretty same scenarion, Insurance after investigating, put me not at fault (for the above reasons), so while I didn't pay for excess, my carfax will ding me :( Funny, well not funny, the VERY next week, there was a major crash, same time, same place all emergency responders on scene, and the i/sec was blocked off, that is apparently a very dark and bad i/sec, lots of accidents there, especially at night. TBH I don't even think other driver had her lights on, I had come to a complete stop, and maybe she was in a blindspot or dunno: I avoid that i/sec like the plague, there is a side cut through a car park, or petrol station I use. ANY right turns I do now, regardless of where I am or right of way I stop and look very carefully, though NAF I'm going to have to take a BIG bullet, ont sure how much value I'll loose on trade-in... 5 grands worth of damage, insurance did a good job on the car. Maybe God saved me that day from the other one I saw, I mean both cars where wrecked and wreckage all over the i/sec Thanks for the reply Bend, your a star

Hi everyone. I'm asking for a friend who has a question of interpretation.
He was ticketed for using a hand-held device. He contends that he was acting within the exemption provided under Subsection 14 (1) of O. Reg. 366/09, which reads as follows (emphasis added):
Hey guys i just wanted to know what speeds you see others do on the roads on a regular basis. As we all know no body drives 100 km. It seems they only hit that speed twice once on the way up and once on the way down.
it seems the De Facto limit on the 401 is about 120-130. But lately i dont know if…
On June 10, 2017, I was pulled over by an OPP on the 403 heading WB and told I registered 136km/hr. I kept chit chat to a minimum and took my ticket and went on with my day. I later requested my disclosure and did not receive it until a week before my Oct. 27 court date, and so I had my date…
Anyone know any more information? Apparently kathleen wynne mentioned trying to introduce legislation after more than 20 years of no speed cameras. My guess is that it wont happen, since they've tried before many times to bring it back after it was abolished.
The other day I was given a ticket for speeding 119 in a 90, on highway 17 near Marathon, ON (Speeding ticket capital of the universe, BTW). The officer claims to have "clocked" me using the vehicle mounted radar at 121 KMH and dropped it (presumably to lower fine and demerits).
I posted this in the 3 Demerit Section and haven't received any
responses.
I received a failure to stop at an amber light ticket on April 17, 2009. At my First Attendance Meeting I asked to read the police officer's notes and remember thinking how ridiculous they were and the difficulty…
I was on the right side of the road going straight when a pedestrian waved down the taxi driver in the lane next to me. He pulled over to the right without any notice or signalling and hit me with the side of his car.
There were many witnesses but I immediately had a concussion and did not think of…
My mother was driving EB on a 4 lane street (2 lanes EB, 2 lanes WB).
She was in the left hand lane and started a left hand turn so as to enter a side street, crossing WB traffic. There was NO intersection. She hit a cyclist who was heading WB. Police where called but none showed up. My…
If the speed limit is 50, and you do 100+, not only do you get 6 points. Your car gets impounded for a week, and your license suspended for 7 days, along with a hefty fine of at least $2000. The penalty is actually the same as for racing. The law came in effect on October 1, 2007. Remember -…
I was driving westbound on Hwy. 8 earlier this month in North Dumfries Township, approaching the Cambridge city limits. The weather was clear and the roads were dry. I noticed a vehicle on the shoulder on my side of the road, pointing towards me. This didn't concern me right away, as it is a rural…
