Charged going 127 in 80 KM zone on 401

Unread post by tgatsbie »

I received a 15km ticket about 6 months ago, otherwise clean driving record for 3 years. I was charged at 1am, and no workers were present. I did not outright admit guilt, I apologized and simply complied with the officer. I handed the insurance and driver license but was nervous and couldnt find the ownership form, although I had it in the car. I also had my license set for renewal in a month but he didnt insist on the detail. What course of action is recommended to reduce the fine/lower the demerit points? Should I go for early resolution or simply select the trial option?

If your goal is to just get a reduction, you can do either or. In my opinion, i'd just schedule a trial and put some more space in between the 2 tickets
