Fatal Error? Cop Wrote 99km/h Over 60km/h But Was Wrong.

by: itchingman on

Cop pulled me over and went through all the normals, got the ticket and he told me he put 29km/h over 60 km/h. Got home and looked at it and it says I did 99km/h in posted 60km/h ; but the set fine was wrong, he put $108.75 which would equate to the 29km/h, not the 39km/h. Huge difference, insurance and demerit wise.

How should I proceed, should I fight it?

Yes, there's one to fight.

How should I? I've heard people just avoiding it until justice reviews it and if not they appeal using the London vs Young, but are those tactics dated? It's my second ticket ever, first one being only 15km/h over so I'm new to this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
