Help with a motion to change trial date by prosecutor

Hi,

hoping you can help me.

the Prosecutors office in Barrie just sent me a letter saying they are having a moition to change trial date on december 1st. My riginal trial date was dec 8th.

IS this legal, can they do this?

do i have to attend?

is there any way to get this thrown out because of this moition.

also, still waiting for them to send me disclosure i reuqested, but they havent

any help would be great

If you haven't received disclosure then you can ask for an adjournment or even stay the proceedings.

And yes they can change trial dates, and yes you should be there unless you have representation.
