I was driving up a hill. At the top of the hill is a 90 degree turn sign (no stop sign, no kmh posted). I hit the brakes too late, and because the road goes ...

Re: Parking 3M of Firehydrant
Hi,
I got this ticket last year in toronto and received court date recently.
Basically I parket on a street where there are marked spots for car parking but they were all faded with only the white edges showing. I assumed I was in the correct spot when I got out. I never noticed the fire hydrant in the bushes.

Wrong section Viper. She was charged under HTA 78.1(1) Not 78(1).
The only exceptions to 78.1(1) are the following:
Exceptions
(4) Subsection (1) does not apply to,
(a) the driver of an ambulance, fire department vehicle or police department vehicle;

They shoot fish in a barrel all around there both ways east and west.
So the cop is gonna show up.
select option 3
You can either take the bargain for 14 over or:
What I would do.(since the dollar amount is so low)
Show up on the day ordered.(If markham road pay at least 4 hours of parking)
A bit early if you can.

Re: Ticketed for 101km/h in 60km/h in driveway
It's 11:00PM on June summer night 2010. I made a left turned from 50km/h zone (Road A) to 60 km/h (Road B) safely on green light. As soon as I made the turn I see that the next traffic lights are red so I rolled off the throttle and cruised in right lane. Light turned green and I see two cars in both lanes pulling away from me. I maintain my ...

I read this topic about an expired license plate:

A forum member in that topic (named Stanton) said "If it's the cost of the fine that's your concern, request a first attendance meeting with the Crown Prosecutor. Show them proof that you renewed your plate right away and they'll probably ...

Re: dealer plates and insurance
So I got a ticket from an officer last week for operate motor vehicle without insurance. I was driving a car from our lot (a used car dealership company), my boss said that the car is insured under the fleet policy and that I am fine. The problem was that our dealer plate was not on the car at the time (it was left back at the shop), so when I got ...

In Mississauga today I saw a peel car with a sign in window "mechanics test"
He was doing speed tests.(real fast spurts to about 90) limit there 80
I was going to pull him over as he had a tail-light out. (but I was busy)
I was in durham going 60K

parking ticket court
I have at least 10 tickets that I asked for trial on.(Toronto Markham road court)
I have received no response on any of them.
It is now over 4 years for that bunch.
Do these just disappear after so long?
Thanks for the help.
Cheers

Re: Sect 182 (2) Disobey sign
As to your original Q?
"if any-one knows different (please answer)"
1RST What kind of cop gave you the ticket?
2nd
I just found that the (traffic safety police) can give you a ticket for almost anything.(parking too).
3RD
Those points on cvor are really add to insurance cost.
Cheers
