think you have misread the notes > officer was WB, has your vehicle EB at 135km/hr near the 128 3/4km marker......uturned and caught up to your vehicle at the 130km marker, called the communications centre and then stopped your vehicle at the 132km marker

In its 20-year history, the SIU has conducted at least 3,400 investigations and laid criminal charges after only 95 of them, according to a Star analysis. The SIU does not track what happens to those it charges. But the Star has, and found only 16 officers have been convicted of a crime

You pleaded to a charge that does not apply to the Don Valley. It is a city of Toronto roadway, not a Kings highway. Those are owned and maintained by the Province, such as 400 series..

Re: Disobey Officer directing traffic.
The officer has to give a "direction" for this charge to stick. Using the car to block the road does not count either as the HTA specifies the signs and or barracades that must be used. the officer was just lazy at the time. Also, you said you received the ticket in a parking lot. Section 134 only applies when on a highway (road, street, etc). It ...

Every pickup or vehicle with a delivery body is a commercial motor vehicle by definition.
However, for CMV offences to apply, the RGW (registered gross weight, >>LOOK on the ownership <<) has to be OVER 4,500kgs.

The correct charge should have been Fail to produce insurance card, a $50 fine, unless you didn't have insurance at the time.
It is still a correct charge (officer discretion) whether we believe the person has insurance or trying to pull a fast one. There is little to no way to tell at roadside if there valid insurance or not. Certainly wish ...

The HTA does not define a heavy vehicle or heavy truck. It mentions it in section 110 by making the driver responsible for damaging a highway. Ontario Regulation 615 - Signs and Ont Reg 147 - Toll Highways define a heavy truck in regards to what vehicles must use a transponder. Once a conviction is registered an Ontario driver's licence is generated (x-reference to your address and licence).
Failure to pay will result in the Ontario licence being suspended, therefore you will not have any licence once you enter the Province of Ontario. The Ontario generated licence trumps the Illinois one.

Testing time and not mentioning the word "road" is insignificant. The road test is part of the complete testing procedure.

I paid $79 for my bluetooth at future shop. All I had to do was "sync" the phone to the device. Easy to use, phone rings, press one button and talk. Same to dial...press same one button, say "call" and the number.
