Also, rear fog lights. How many people do you know who have even heard of them?
They only come on in reverse, Pontiac Grand Am comes to mind, had 1.

The after market fogs can be bad. Had one Suburban behind me with them mounted in the grill.....idiot. You do sit low in the Escort though....

Bear, we are a bit spoiled here in Ontario. You come off as a 100% honest guy and a great majority of our constables is like that.
I grew up in Serbia during the Milosevic era. At that time, it was fairly common for a person to get beaten, put into a van, beaten some more in the van, taken into the station, get beaten some more, taken out of the ...

Re: front license plate position in ontario

The OHTA states that it must be attached in a conspicuous place...the wording goes like this.....Every number plate shall be kept free from dirt and obstruction and shall be affixed so that the entire number plate, including the numbers, is plainly visible at all times.....

Re: Threatened with racing charges

I really hope the law enforcement community doesn't start laying stunting charges for riding in a formation. Stunting is a charge that's serious enough to make people reconsider the option of just running. If more people start running, they'll start laying down even more oppressive laws and make it even worse for the riding community. With the way ...

Your risk of being killed while driving in the passing lane is more than 70% higher than in the right lane
Seeing as we have covered the passing lane and right lane, the "hammer" lane should be wide open for me:D, and according to the stats noone get killed in the hammer lane.

Re: 2 tickets i'd need some advice i think one is invalid

It's up to you. You were only stopped once right. One ticket is not valid, it's upto you as to which one. If you receive two trial dates, probably not, but you could use one ticket to get out of the other. You'd have to be really slick but it's possible. Best bet though is to get the stop sign one tossed.

Re: Criminal Code Section 39 re impounding of Car

Don't we have something against laying two charges for the same offense? Or is that just in the States?

But there are two offences. One is speeding the other is racing.

If you line up side by side with someone else and proceed to try and beat them to a specific spot that's Dangerous. If you try really hard, i.e. exceeding the speed limit by ...
