Re: Disclosure request content

You may think using a notary is overkill...BUT you should realise that a notary has equal powers to a judge !!!

I still say get it notarised. Infact use a notary for anything you need to establish as truth including establishing the truth of all actions against you. For example witnesses in a court case as well as requests stating that you have ...

Re: 74 in a 50 trial date today, a few quick tips?

If you are going to appeal then you'll have to do it within 15 days of the trial. Go to the court house and ask for the paperwork, they have forms. You may want some assistance in filing out the form. You will need to request transcripts at this point.

Your 11b will hold up now. What are we at 15 months from the infraction date?

Yeah pretty much, I worry that it won't hold up because they may look at the last adjournment as my fault? Eventhough I was prepared to go to trial but the JP basically was telling me he was convicting me before the trial so I had no options.

Even then your 11b ...

hey so i got a ticket as stated above doing 81 in a 50 zone.. The officer wrote the wrong driver license number on my ticket... He wrote 3 instead of 8. Do i have a chance to get this ticket dismissed for that reason?

3) resolution court, where you try to make a resolution or then ask for trial court (waving your 11B)
These should be automatic, no papers to file........It's not like the idea is new in law.....might help speed things up a bit......just a thought.

Question 1: What's the best thing to do if the disclosure does not come by the court date?

Being a regular joe without legal training, simply explain to the JP that you twice filed for disclosure and didn't receive it......stay issued.

Question 2: If it comes and I defend myself, can I print reg 615 from the internet and use it in court?

In the GTA, yes. Red lights don't mean stop in the GTA, they mean, "If you want to make a left wait for everyone else to stop and then do your thing and hold up the opposing traffic".

Traffic Law has a point. If you don't feel comfortable fighting this ticket yourself, seek some representation. Unfortunately, you have received a ticket and the only way to challenge it is in court.

I can't believe it either. Good grief... every time I go up to Caledon the flow is at least 115+ through there...

Sound like a "trap" to me. The limit goes from 100-90-80 while still on a controlled access divided highway.
