Re: Question about accuracy of Aerial Surveillance in Court

On the reaction time test above, I averaged .220, (190 to 230) a spread of about .04 seconds. So with that the 12.4 seconds can mean a spread of 12.36 sec (145.63km/hr) to 12.44 sec, (144.69km/hr)spread of less than 1km/h (for the sake of argument). That doesn't seem that inaccurate at all

The spread was .04 but the actual was still .2 you have ...

Re: Court date

Is it too late to seek the help of a para legal firm ?

get out of bed, get off the couch and go to the phone now.....and there is a form at the bottom of the page.... scroll down

what might be their standard charges at this point of time.

Don't know, all para's are their own entity.

and you said I have 15 days - is it 15 days or 15 ...

Re: Plead guilty or trial?

Thanks for everyone's advice. Yes first time for both offences. I fixed my headlight the day right after I got my ticket and have kept the receipt and packaging for the new light.

However, I'm still unsure about the insurance card ticket. Should I set a court date and on that date just show my insurance card to them? What should I say?

The ...

Re: Court date

If you move fast you can file a 4F which is your right to a speedy trial. You'll have to make 3 copies, one for the Attorney General, one for the court and one more for.....I can't remember. But these need to be filed 15 days before your court date.... A paralegal could do this quickly for you and you may be able to talk them down in price.....good ...

It looks to me that you are right. You might want to talk to a paralegal on this one.

Re: help. new law that first offence = suspended lisence?

News to me, anyone else.....I think you may have that one wrong

Re: Your rights when the five O pull you over

I know my rights and when I can search. I have a job to do and will do it.

Still comes back to what are the average joe's rights.. I know 99.9% of officers are just doing the job they have to do and following hunches are part of that. But if an 18 yr old kid, possibly nervous, is pulled over he may or may not know how these situations will ...

Re: Speed Bumps That Look Like Children !!! ???

Are you going to pay for it. People scream when they find out how many cruisers are bought. So who will pay for the instruments and operators?
Those who are wondering can pay..... putting a price tag on knowledge is always the worst thing you can do.....

Re: Speed Bumps That Look Like Children !!! ???

When people talk that they only blew an 80 i know know that for most people that is smashed
I think what I lean towards is that the general public might benefit from a sitdown with a bottle and an Intoxilyzer just to see what the "numbers" feel like.

Re: Your rights when the five O pull you over

The magic here is how the officer phrases the question, "May

Re: Speed Bumps That Look Like Children !!! ???

. And while I'm ranting why do police get the opportunity to drink then perform a breathalyzer but the general public, the bigger problem, just get a ticket. . :?: :?:

that speed bump might work the wrong way....after a few times the people will slow down, but the drivers become to accustom to that and when a real child runs out....just keep on ...
