The unit cannot be user calibrated.
That is done when assembled.

Required testing is an internal test that also performs a sort of self-cal. You have the ability to call into question the 122 as the manufacturer states quite clearly in the manual that the reading is plus/minus 3 KMH. And your 3 KMH would put you in a lower $$ bracket.

Is this disclosure request form ok?
http://respect.to/wiki/pmwiki.php?n=LegalInfo.RequestForDisclosureForm
As for the 4F template, that's when I submit a request for stay of charges (11(b)), at least two weeks before the trial date, right?
Thanks!

Type your own request and get the transmission confirmation. Ask for everything you asked for before. Don't worry about format. Try for a formal "feel" though.

Re: going for 3rd trail, speed over 30,no disclosure, please help
But why should I request the disclosure again since I already requested once and I also did a follow up call to their office? I think since I already made many attempts for the disclosure, would it be worth it to request again? or just mention to the judge it's their fault by not providing it to me?

Re: Radar question
So, if i can get a minimum lead time (how much time does it take to measure both approaching car's speeds, verify the radar patrol speed read-out vs the patrol speedo, etc) then I can calculate the distance the initial sighting took place.
Takes about a second, if less.
See if you can find the manual online, it will detail everything.

10 days is not a lot. You want to ask for is a continuance, time to look over the evidence, since during your 10 days you also have to work and sleep...etc. You should get it.

Re: Disclosure requested 3x, want to file a motion
When you go to court make sure you have the fax confirmations with you. If you are handed your disclosure immediately before the trial, wait your turn and ask the JP for a stay due to lack of disclosure. It probably won't happen but you will mostly get a continuance to look over the documents. This could be weeks or months, depends on where you are ...

Going by your story, you should be able to go back to that intersection and take some pics or video next time it is raining.
Due to the seriousness of the charge though, legal representation would be advisable.

The device on the tripod was most likely lidar.
In your disclosure you may want to ask for both officer's notes, testing notes including alignment checks, and a copy of the users manual for the speed detection device used.

X2Sorry to disappoint, but it is challenged on a weekly basis in POA courts in Toronto. Unless you have an expert witness who can testify that the tests conducted by police are not sufficient to prove the device was working correctly, you're in a major uphill battle, IMO.
