Re: Electric Cars in Ontario?
Well, Mr. BookM can make a fortune by providing an aftermarket equipment to make noise similar to a loud tailpipe when the electric cars ARE in fact legal to drive here. But why the hold up with these? How come americans, who do not give a squat about the environment can drive the few available models, and we can't? There is nothing in the ...

Every thing else where the offence is criminal I agree, but until speeding becomes criminal I see no need for the judge, jury and executioner to be on the side of the road.

I have heard that also, but have not seen anything in B&W. I heard it was going to be in October and apparently a 320 page document. This info I have was from a local paralegal, who said literally said "I don't have time to read all that BS, as it apparently it is a rights issue and yet driving clearing written is a priviledge".

Looking around saves way more lives than loud pipes.
I almost fell off my chair...someone actually said that! I agree 100%.
My reasoning (I am an MC rider) is the transmission of the noise is backwards. You do not get the main noise affect until the MC is very close and past the location. Just like a fighter jet, nice and quiet as it approaches ...

I don't know the whole story here. But unless there was what "Bear explained present in your situation then you'll have no legal leg to stand on. Besides, the cosine effect, for the most part, works for you not against. I doubt that your appeal will succeed.

"Driving a motor vehicle in a manner that indicates an intention to chase another motor vehicle" Section 172.

Not providing proof is not "Driving Without Insurance". I don't see it effecting your rates. I had an out of date card once and the officer still ran the policy number and it came back ok. I was told to find the right card and off I went.

It is also funny, that people cry about the costs of tickets (which are avoidable), but don't think twice about buying a beer, smokes or GASOLINE!! Those items are taxed to death (NOT avoidable) and no one bats an eye at paying it........kinda of screwed up mentality!

I still don't agree with that, it should be up to the judge to decide that and not some rookie officer that is in a bad mood. My opinion is that the "No Turn" sign should be visible at or before the turn. If there are multiple streets in one area then the sign should indicate which street(s) has the restriction.

Hey everyone, maybe someone can help me out with this little problem. Couple days ago me and a friend were driving our bikes on a roadway with a posted speed limit of 60km/h. We got caught driving 88km/h and given a set fine of $135 and 3 points. Now the problem, after being pulled over the cop was shaking with anger, told us he wants to tow our ...

Re: Residential streets most dangerous to kids, says Safe Kids
I have a practise of turning the music up really loud when driving home. The kids don't like to tunes but they do know that I'm coming. Respect for the cars on the road is safety first as far as I am concerned. The onus is not only on the driver.

It's funny that the government or insurance agencies don't test drivers  . The 'Bear is right, few if any civilian drivers have ever participated in skid schools or evasive avoidance courses. However, like the 'Bear with speed estimates it can only take time. I find with myself I'm more apt to let my mind wander if I'm bored, read stop and go ...

Ontario HTA 128 sub 14 b ) between 20km and 35 km the set fine is 4.50 per km, I was doing 21km over my set fine should be $94.5 but on the ticket shows set fine of 78.75, is this grounds to nullify the ticket??
I'm not 100% on a low amount being fatal, but a high amount definetly is. Try challenging the the ticket and see what happens. Are you ...
