I'm sure this has been asked, but I did search for right of way and couldn't find anything Who has the right of way at an intersection with a two way stop sign. Person A going south turning left arrives at intersection first Person B going north going straight through intersection arrives after Person A I've always thought person B has the right of way but I can't find anything explicitly in the HTA about right of way. It does say: No driver or operator of a vehicle in an intersection shall turn left across the path of a vehicle approaching from the opposite direction unless he or she has afforded a reasonable opportunity to the driver or operator of the approaching vehicle to avoid a collision. R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 141 (5). Dave

I would appreciate the link to the other thread. I'm also curious how this is "easy" there is no direction in the HTA as to right of way in this situation. In fact I can't even find anything that specifies the right of way at a 4 way stop in the HTA. I was under the impression that anyone turning left had to give right of way ? Dave

There was another thread specifically on this, I will try to find it.

I was driving north on Bathurst and turned left onto a side street into a residential area before hitting the lights at Eglinton and Bathurst. I normally do this to avoid the big line up to turn left onto Eglinton.
On the 400 extension EB towards Barrie cops like to hide out under an over pass that is Ski Trails Rd. They tag people as the come over the crest of the hill and that is 900m from where this officer was standing.
I'm confused because I knew this, saw the cop, and checked my…

Today i got caught doing 115 in a 90 at Mayfield and 410 and what I have been reading is that this offence is 3 points. I was (recently) involved in a traffic accident where, due to icy road conditions, I slid into oncoming traffic while making a right turn, while they were coming towards me and stopping at a stop sign. This was a residential area and there's no way I was exceeding anything over 20KM/h on…
