If you can't view the picture, I'll try to explain. If I am waiting to turn left at a green light (left signal is off), and there is an oncoming vehicle that is turning right but has a yield sign, who has right of way? Me turning left, or the car turning right at the yield sign?

I should also clarify this: I'm at the left turn and they're still approaching their current position.,. Do they yield to me because I was there first, or do they go because left must yield anyways?

Its hard to tell for certain from the picture, but it looks like the red car would have to yield. Once you've made your left turn, you'd already be on the highway/onramp. The red car appears to be merging onto the same road further down, and therefor would have to yield to traffic already on the highway.

As Stanton states, the car making the right (i.e. the red car) must yield to the car already on the street (i.e. the car that just made the left turn on to the street). This is further corroborated by the fact that the YIELD sign is for the red car; not the one having just turned left. Just know that while the car turning left MUST ensure their turn is done in safety, once they clear the intersection they are now in right of way on the 'new' street. It is the car still turning right on to the 'new' street (i.e. the red car) that must yield to the traffic having the right of way (i.e. the traffic coming off the left turn). The only thing that MIGHT change the situation is if there was a island where both vehicles were entering the road at the same time. But that is not the case here.

I was charged for disobey sign (no left turn) in a winter noon time around Bay/Edward (the prosecutor/judge said it to be a Absolute liability offences but disobey sign is actually a strict liability offence, right? And I found this: For example, if you made an illegal left-turn where there were…

I was driving north on Bathurst and turned left onto a side street into a residential area before hitting the lights at Eglinton and Bathurst. I normally do this to avoid the big line up to turn left onto Eglinton.
On the 400 extension EB towards Barrie cops like to hide out under an over pass that is Ski Trails Rd. They tag people as the come over the crest of the hill and that is 900m from where this officer was standing.
I'm confused because I knew this, saw the cop, and checked my…

Today i got caught doing 115 in a 90 at Mayfield and 410 and what I have been reading is that this offence is 3 points. Seeing this is my first offence I'm unsure if the ticket is supposed to I lost 3 points or is that just automatic. Also should I go to fight it to drop the points and just pay the…
I was (recently) involved in a traffic accident where, due to icy road conditions, I slid into oncoming traffic while making a right turn, while they were coming towards me and stopping at a stop sign. This was a residential area and there's no way I was exceeding anything over 20KM/h on…
