Failure to Yield to Pedestrian Approaching - HTA 140 (2) (b)

Please help,

I have been ticketed for the following offence and would like to find out if it is worth fighting. The exact description is as follows: "Stopped vehicle at cross over. - Fail to Yield to Pedestrian Approaching."

- This cabby braked in front of me last minute, so I pulled to the right lane and passed him (thought he was taking a left), passed through cross walk (didn't see flashing lights as it was last minute break) and looked to my left to see Pedestrian just coming on to the road to cross.
