Just a note, both officers will have to be present to testify.

You definitely do not need a lawyer for this. Paralegals advising you were right about not needing lawyer. A traffic ticket paralegal is a professional who specializes in the OHTA law. Lawyers are those who deal with criminal law - ie DUI.

As for mail-in submission, I think you need to download Form 18A. Seems the closest one to description.

So, basically, you completed a turn in 1.5 seconds. You might argue that you did stop for a split second and then proceeded to make the right turn. But I am fairly certain your car needs to be in that second picture.

Why cancel an already scheduled court date? By letting it happen you still can plead guilty with an explanation at worst plus have a chance of winning if the cop does not show up (unless you don't want to spend time to take that chance)

The cop might show up and mess up the plans a bit. The stakes are higher. If your insurance can let you have ...

See what kind of a deal the prosecutor will offer you. Also, look up you insurance policy on the net, see what kinds of tickets affect you most.

A favourable witness statement can go a long way to help fight this charge.
Also, here's a question - why was there such a deep pool of water? Sounds like someone in the city is not doing their job right.
