Re: 2 UP ATV/ORV Tickets

You need a license, plate (blue), and insurance specifically for highway use. You need a plate (green) and insurance for off road use anywhere that isn't your own private property. You can either pay for insurance that will cover you everywhere, or just insurance for use on the trails.

Re: Driving 80 km/hr in 60 zone, Don Mills and Eglinton

Need Some Help,
In April 2014, I got two tickets.
1- Was failed to provide insurance pink slip. (I forgot to keep the current copy of pink slip in car). I had it at home.

If you show up to court with proof of insurance during the time you were pulled over, they'll tell you that they can drop this ticket if you plead guilty to the other one.

Aren't these tickets supposed to have photos, and the time of the red light etc?

You never received the ticket, which is the whole basis of your argument in reopening the case. You received a notice of your conviction. What that notice was trying to explain was "Hey, you ignored the ticket and you've been found guilty because of it". Once the ...

Didn't you already make a thread on this?

What you received wasn't a notice of the offense. You are way past that. There's no need for pictures or any proof with what you received. What you got was a letter informing you that basically you ignored the original notice and you've been found guilty.

I believe you said you never received a letter ...

Two-way radios for commercial (that includes courier) are temporarily exempt from the distracted driving law. They've been trying to phase out traditional two ways out for several years now for a permanent hands free solution but they keep extending the deadline.

You should have went through insurance. This driver is never going to pay you. You may get a payment here and there and then you're going to hear about how she thinks she's paid enough and you're asking too much. Then it's going to turn into "..well I don't think the accident was my fault and i'm not going to pay". You'll be dealing with excuses ...

Go to the courthouse as soon and possible and explain you never received a notice of trial.

It sounds like you were booked for a court date and for whatever reason you never received your notice in the mail. Your trial date comes and obviously you're not present. You're found guilty for no showing.

A license isn't required if you're not traveling on an Ontario Highway. You need a M class license when traveling on an Ontario "highway". Highway meaning basically any road maintained by the province. Just because a road is gravel, doesn't mean it isn't considered a highway. You would need your M class license, insurance specifically for your bike ...

As far as I know, it's perfectly legal to have a child in the front seat of a car with these stipulations:

- The front airbag must be disabled. Some newer vehicles will do this automatically with sensors in the seat that detect the small weight.
- They're still using the appropriate booster seat.
