I'm pretty sure they'll refer you to Brampton (7755 Hurontario Street).

Re: 49 km/h over & fail to surrender permit MV- First Offens
So should I take option two and plead guilty- submission as to penalty?
Will I still be able to fight the failure to surrender permit, because I have it and i don't want to pay for that ticket?
The charge is for not surrendering it upon request. Whether or not you have it after the fact doesn't necessarily mean you're not guilty. Usually, you ...

They updated the safety checklist in 2015. If you have a car built after 2017, they check for tint before you can pass.

If you're 21 and under, full license or not, you are required to have a BAC level of zero. No alcohol whatsoever.
Pretty sure you should have been charged for that.

Re: Suspension due to seizure
1. How long does it take to receive the MTO's notice of suspension? Is it effective immediately?
I haven't received anything yet, but I totally expect a letter soon. Does it mean that in the absence of notification I have a grace period during which can drive a motorised vehicle? Or shall I consider my suspension immediate from the time I had my ...

Re: 22 yr. old son charged with no insurance; help please!
There's no set fine for driving without insurance. There's a minimum and a maximum. Minimum I believe is something like $5,000 plus fees. Maximum is something like $25,000, suspension, and jail time.
For a first offense, it's more than likely he'd receive the bare minimum.
Not much you can do about this charge when you stop paying your insurance ...

Re: class g1 driver unaccompanied by a qualified driver
I did have it - I have a constitutional right to build my defense - I've sent 4 Disclosure requests and before less than 2 weeks to the trial - I got not what I was requested!
1) I have not enough time to prepare! 2) I didn't get the typed enforcement notice and I cant read it!
- You can request whatever you like. They also don't have to ...

We've noticed it also.

Re: class g1 driver unaccompanied by a qualified driver
You were offered a resolution before a trial.
You took that resolution. In fact, it was a pretty good deal to take. I would not hesitate myself to take that deal.
You said you had a right to an adjournment. You didn't. It's not your decision and I don't really see any argument for one.
All this about the officer not being the officer, it's over ...

Re: License suspended after lost ticket, ways to delay?
I lost 2 points two years ago for unsafe right turn and now 4 points for speeding, totaled 6 points. Which I SHOULD be called to an interview to explain my situation and why I should not be suspended. But no...all I got was a suspension letter plus fees to pay.

Re: class g1 driver unaccompanied by a qualified driver
The questions is:
A) - what kind or reasons can give me a real chance to be FOUND NOT GUILTY
for the day of the getting ticket:
1 - was 5 months in country
2 - driving with G1 unaccompanied full G
3 - have admitted 18 years driving experience by Ontario Service

You were either ...

Re: Accident on left turn, need advice
I don't know much about that process, unfortunately. You usually hear about cases dealing with accident benefits and stuff like that, rather than fault determination on your average accident.

Re: Accident on left turn, need advice
Onus is on the driver making the left. Squeezing through a stopped lane of cars while one remains active is usually an accident waiting to happen.
Insurance company is correct. There's options for mediation and arbitration, but I don't see how you can make a case.

Re: Summon, driving w/out insurance, first time offense
When you're showing up for trial charged with driving with no insurance and trying to mislead an officer into thinking you had insurance, you want to go to court and try to do the same exact thing and show them you've learned absolutely nothing. What can possibly go wrong?
