A stop sign on the left side of the road doesn't cancel out the sign on the right.
A stop sign being placed so it is visible by the driver at 60 metres is to insure it's not placed behind a wall or fixture, not that the on-road traffic may at some point block your view of the sign.

Re: Suspension for 6 years, Racing for 3?
When you get a ticket like that, you, go back to like a beginner driver. So each year, after, will lower your rate (if ticket free).
After 3 years of no tickets/no claims, you could shop around a bit, but most likely your present place will suit best.

Video or no video, the officer still witnessed the offense.

Re: Two stop sign infractions but one ticket?
However the officer's video is grainy and it has a poor frames per second issue in the dark.
If you look at the other lights in the video, many appear to be blinking and expanding; some appear to be even moving when the officer is turning.
Have you considered the poor quality of footage, with the poor night time ISO, not adequately capable of ...

Re: Two stop sign infractions but one ticket?
the first one imo, which is from a considerable distance away, shows headlights and a probable stop sign violation, though a couple seconds is obstructed completely by a passing vehicle at the time my vehicle was approaching the intersection (which has a stop sign about 7 metres from the highway) on a grid road.

Thanks! Ha I think I was reading your post elsewhere too while researching for tips.
It could the start and end of the officers shift, testing times, or both. It's also not uncommon for an officer to write testing procedures on a separate page so they're not writing the same thing over and over again.
You can always ask for clarification, but ...

Marked Scout 3312 as call sign 3321.2 (not sure what this is)
It's the police vehicle information. It was vehicle number 3312. It was marked, meaning the police decals are plainly visible and not one of the more hidden vehicles.

Re: Unintentionally failed to stop for a school bus
1) School bus drivers are pretty aware of their surroundings. They're not going to expect incoming traffic to immediately halt on the drop of a dime with a flick of the lights. It sounds like the driver was aware and waited for you to clear before throwing the sign out.
2) If you were not pulled over at the scene, the owner of the vehicle would ...

If you need disclosure, ask for it. If you need a fax, email, etc for the prosecution office, you can contact the court house and find out. You can also do it in person. They may have a generic disclosure request form you can fill out also.

Appeals are not do-overs. You either had a fair trial or you didn't. Be aware it's not an opportunity to rehash the same arguments.

I'd suggest you not drive in the meantime. Florida license or not, you can't drive in Ontario while suspended.

Maybe someone who knows the regulation can respond and give you a clearer answer. I don't believe being classified as a commercial vehicle is dependent on whether or not it's used for business.

What exactly do you mean by "you realized it was not in your glovebox"?
Did the officer give you an opportunity to look in glovebox before you realized it wasn't there?

Re: 144(18) Disclosure
I was under the impression this was a major offense.
It most likely wont. Basic disobeying of traffic signs and signals are minor. Special circumstances involving kids, schools, etc will make it a major. Same goes for speeding, passing, etc.
e.g. Not stopping for a stop sign is a minor. Put that stop sign on a school bus and pass improperly and ...
