Re: Careless Driving after accident

Anyone else has advice? Why did I get careless driving for this?

It wasn't for hitting the door. You're not at fault when someone opens their door on you, but it sounds like it's for the accident afterwords. When in an accident, you have to maintain reasonable control of your vehicle. Some people panic when in an accident and do stuff like hit ...

Re: 14 points can I get suspended?

Let's just get this out of the way. You are a terrible driver. You are probably the worst sober driver i've read about here in some years. That being said, here's what you need to know:

- You inquired about your current insurance situation and how it will impact your currents rates. Don't be surprised if you get a letter in the mail from your ...

Re: Careless Driving after accident

Just so you are aware, your license will be suspended for 30 days if you are convicted. As a G2 driver, you are subject you Novice Driver Escalating Sanctions. If you are convicted of 4 or more points on a single charge, you will automatically be suspended.

If you got pictures of the scene, post them (no need for closeup damage pictures). The fact ...

No, the section you were charged with is there to prevent exactly what you did.

Take the next exit and get back on the highway going in the opposite direction.

Re: DISOBEY SIGN - HTA.182(2), HELP!!!!

1. My first trial date is on Monday and they just notified me that my disclosure is ready today (Friday), there is no way I'm going to get there by the time they close as I live pretty far from where the court is. I'm going to end up receiving my disclosure on the day I attend court. Can I go into court and request that it be adjourned so that I ...

1. He said he was video taping and recording. How do i get a copy of both the video and recording?

Request a trial, receive your Notice of Trial, and request disclosure. If there is video evidence, it will be provided with your request.

2. It wasnt an unsafe turn if the guy was not speeding (officer even said he was going at a clip) in ...

Re: Aircraft ticket near Cornwall - Fight or no fight?

but I'm wondering what my chances are of beating the ticket, or if I should even bother.

It doesn't sound like you have a defense going. Your chances of beating this ticket are just as good as anyone else who requests a trial for a ticket without a defense. Maybe you'll catch a break along the way, but there's no secret handshake that will make ...

Re: witness is lying

He wrote I hit the stop sign since I told him. he did not know what happens, so he only listened to witness's testimony (towing guy), i think. I did not notice it was scratched at that time. but the towing guy wrote this on the report.

The damage to your own vehicle is also a factor in reporting an accident.

Post your disclosure in its entirety ...

Re: Speeding 30 Over

The officer probably has his laser testing times on its own sheet. Since he's on laser duty, he writes it down once instead of writing it down every single time he pulls someone over (which would be a lot). When they pulled up your disclosure, they missed the note. Request disclosure again and explain you're missing this information.

Re: Ticket for driving a friend's car with expired sticker

So I was wondering, given the fact that it wasn't my car...do I have a chance in court?

You are responsible as the driver of a vehicle to make sure it is suitable for the road, whether it's yours or not.

Whether or not you are offered a plea deal right before trial is one thing, but you are not going to be successful in a trial with your ...

Re: Ocasional Flames from Exhaust, Charge?

I'm just going to go on a complete guess since there isn't enough information. Some may apply to you, some may not.

You car is running rich and you've got some unburnt fuel sparking up in your exhaust. I'm going to assume you're not using your stock catalytic converter(s) and replaced them with something less restrictive or you'd be cooking that ...

Re: witness is lying

Can you tell me which Highway traffic act shows I have to stay if the stop sign got scratched? Note: I did not notice it is scratched at the time since it is not tilted, not falling down. But the towing guy said it was a kind of scar in his report. I know that if the damage is not apparently higher than $1000, I don't need to report immediately ...

Re: Fail to use lower beam oncoming

You either have a defense or you get lucky along the way. Since it doesn't sound like you have much of a defense, request a trial, request disclosure, and go from there.
