No driver or operator of a vehicle in an intersection shall turn left across the path of a vehicle approaching from the opposite direction unless he or she has afforded a reasonable opportunity to the driver or operator of the approaching vehicle to avoid a collision. R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 141 (5).
Pretty much acurate charge. Best thing to do ...

Re: Ticketed For Parking in a Handicap Spot
Thanks Daggx for spreading some sunshine on this situation. So I went back today and took photos of the location, and there are no lines on the pavement, not even lines showing parking spaces. So if I take in my photos plus quote that by-law link, I should get off the charge correct?

Ticketed For Parking in a Handicap Spot
I was parked last night in a parking lot in Scarborough. When I came back to my car, I see a $450 ticket on my car. There were no markings on the ground for lanes, or even painted blue for a handicap spot. There was a sign on the wall, but it was to the right of my car so i assumed it was for the spot next to me (no markings on the road). This is ...

Unnecessary Noise for Bass?
I was driving last night around 11:30 P.M. and was stopped at a red light. An unmarked cruiser pulled up next to me, and as I looked over at the officer, he signaled me to pull over into the gas station. As the light turned green, I did as he said. I accelerated and pulled into the gas station, with him behind me with his lights on. As he ...

Is this legal?
So the other day my brother and I were flying down the 407 EB near the 400. I would estimate we're doing around 170-180km/h. I notice an unmarked cruiser in the middle lane and slow down to 120km/h. My brother notices the officer later than I did and ends up passing him doing around 140 km/h. Seeing the officer pacing him, I get in between the cop ...

Re: Please help find who's fault is this (dash cam video)
By watching the video, I can honestly say that it seems that you took off at the green since I was able to hear your engine rev up. Also, there are snow patches on the road. Either way, no matter if you saw her and hit your brakes, or not, you would not be able to stop in time. Based on what was read here plus personal experience, there is no way ...

At this point, its a little late to file for a disclosure to see what evidence the officer has against her, and base your argument against that. Best thing to do is show up and hope that the officer doesn't show up, otherwise, if he does, just apologize, say it was an honest mistake, you will probably get it reduced to a lower charge.

That's actually worse. If the ministry feels that you are unfit to drive, following Doctors Medical Records, they could suspend your license.

Re: stop sign priority over scheduled no-turn sign
Just wondering what does the stop sign have to do with the ticket? Were you charged with Disobey Sign or Disobey Stop Sign? Either way, you HAVE to obey BOTH signs. Just take it to trial, and follow what ynotp said.

Re: Expired G2
You would have to have applied for it before the G2 expired. Once the license is expired, you have to start from scratch. See attached link for more info.

Always be polite to Police Officers. If you are on their nice side, chances are they would be more lenient with you.

Re: Caught speeding but received someone elses ticket
I would not do anything, and if you receive a conviction notice in the mail, just appeal it saying you never received the ticket. When you go to court show the prosecutor the ticket you received. That's just what I would do, I physically never received the ticket, so how do I fight something I never got?

Re: Disobey Sign (H.T.A 182.2)
I got my disclosure (Both sides of ticket as well as typed hand written notes). The only thing on the notes were my make and model of vehicle (no colour/license plate), the time that he arrived and left (3:59 P.M. - 6:02P.M.) and a hand drawing of the sign. That is it, a very vague disclosure, maybe about less than half of the ticket. I'm guessing ...

Re: Red-ish parking light
So, Update here. I did not drive on the roads because I was worried about this, and after I read the first comment, I took out those bulbs, and replaced them with white bulbs. I know its supposed to be amber, but to be on the safe side, they can't charge me for white lights.
@OPS, The packaging was the exact bulb for my car, according to the ...

Red-ish parking light
So I bought parking lights for the front of my car since the old ones were blown. They are amber according to the package, but show up more reddish. My question is, even though the lights are not flashing like a cop, can I be charged?
