Re: Yes or No?... or maybe?

Make sure the ticket is filed within 15 days of the offence, 10 days in this case. Then if say the accused can prove he/she was not driving on that road, on that date the ticket would be wrong you are free to go......you just have to play it right. Make no effort to correct the date before trial.....

Re: speeding 40km/h over reduced to 15 km.h question.

So, I have chosen option 3 for my ticket, trial option.
Now they said wait two months to get your court date by mail.
I was reading on ticketcombat.com that i should send 2 letters.
one for a speedy trial and one for disclosure.
does anybody know when is the good time to send these letters?
should i wait for the two months to get my court date ...

This is why the officers word is trusted before a civilian......

Re: Keeping Quiet (" Complete Silence") : Police Traff

The question is do you have proof the owner is your dad and not just some guy with the same last name?

Young guys in fast cars can sometimes cause problems and I'm not saying you are a problem. If the issue of the police is bothering you you can file a complaint with the TPS. If the traffic stops continue after that then you have harassment case.

No, do not use inexperience. Inexperience + bad driving condition = Careless in eyes of JP.

You definitely want to fight this one. Careless for a G2 driver = double insurance (more or less). It is, however, the hardest one for the crown to prove. You might also consider the fact that there were no police at the scene of an accident to see what ...

Re: Dump Truck/Debris/Chipped Windshield ?'s

I am not happy. I spoke with the logistic's manager and basically, he said he wasn't about to set a precedent and pay for my windshield repair and that is what insurance is for. I told him my deductible wouldn't cover it and he said that there was no load on the truck, therefore what I said happened, basically, didn't. Then I got angry.

I told ...
