You should also check local bylaws where you may be riding which may prohibit bicycles from riding two or more abreast.

You're over analyzing this and speculating at the moment about most of the potential evidence. Wait until you get disclosure and then post any questions you may have.

You may also need to request further disclosure to include the manual version. The testing procedure I have is three pages in length. It does state that the tests be performed before shift and no mention of after the conclusion of enforcement actions. However, testing before and at the conclusion of enforcement action is standard in Ontario.

Like I said, It's usually in local policy and procedures, not in law. Violation of the policy or procedure can result in a charge under the Police Services Act.

Re: Requirement for police to identify themselves when asked
I don't know of any Act or Regulation that would require a Peace Officer to identify themselves. However, there is a possibility that an individual agency may have requirement in their own General Orders with regard to wearing either a visible badge number or name tag and/or identifying themselves when requested.

Re: Highway 401 parking on gravel
1) You'd have to go through Regulation 604 of the HTA to see if that area is covered in the Schedule prohibiting parking.
2) Regulation 627 prohibits all pedestrians from Hwy 401. In my opinion, If you're out of your car and it's not an emergency, you're a pedestrian.

You have to specifically request that the officer be present if that's what you want. They wont be there and since u didn't request them, you can't have it tossed out if they don't show.

Re: Teen Stunt Driving Charge
One of my first stunt divers was a 89 over (149 in a 60) The driver was 17 years old and without going to trial the defence and prosecutor came to a deal of a year suspension and a $2000 fine. The JP made a comment that if the two parties had not come to an agreement he would have sent the young man to jail. He also didn't have any convictions ...

Enforcement from an area the you believe is private property will not invalidate the ticket and the JP won't care.

Just so you're aware, fines for outstanding HTA offences must be paid for through the courts. The only fines that are paid through MTO (Service Ontario) are ones that need to be paid prior to renewing the validation sticker for the automobile. These are outstanding parking fines.

You'll have to deal with them as a group, whichever option you choose. Likely the deal offered will be plea to the red light and the other two will be dropped. Or you take your chance at a trial for all three. The two document offences are very easy to prove at a trial though.

Re: dealership licence plate holders
You'd better read the article again. The use of the tint meter is simply as a guideline. Ontario law trumps any reading that may be on the meter. It's all situational and depends on the officers articulation. For example: If I can't see in and tell whether the person is wearing a seatbelt or may be on a phone , it's too dark. Including at night and ...

The lane that the Ram pickup is in is for turning right at Bath Road further up or right onto Golden Mile Road. The appropriate charge was laid in my opinion as you were turning left across traffic having the right of way.

You won't get the charge withdrawn if there is no video evidence. The officers testimony will be used and then you will have an opportunity to testify if you wish. The JP will make the decision based on who was the more credible witness.

A qualified operator doesn't just rely on the manual for training and use. They use a proper tracking history to eliminate or minimize all of those issues.
