There are a couple reasons in Ontario where an officer can pull you over without cause.


Those can be:


(a) To check your driving related documentation.

(b) inspect the mechanical fitness of your vehicle and/or

(c) to check your sobriety


A sobriety check would, best case scenario, require you to roll down your window.

Thanks for that but it really does not answer the question - is there any case law as to what exactly "reasonable inspection" is?
