What Does This Charge Mean?
Had a driver fail to yield and collided with my motorcycle few weeks ago, bike is a write off. Today got the police report and under the charged section this was listed:
Persons Charged - Sections and Act & P.O.T No.
Driver1 - NAME, A-HTA-130-6064880BIf I'm reading it correctly the other driver was charged under Highway Traffic Act (HTA) Section: 130 "Careless Driving". But I don't understand the numbers after the 130, unless thats a ticket # or something.
Any clues? This happened in Peel Region (Kenedy & Derry)

Yes, those numbers to the ticket number for the ticket that was issued to the other driver. P.O.T No. is short for provincial offences ticket number.
