The officer gave me a pink "Summons" ticket, and then in a week time he came to my house and told me that he gave me the wrong form, and handed me a yellow "Summons To Defendant" ticket. Does that help to drop the charge?!

Nope. You have to show up in court still. This will not affect the original crharge.
