Definitions, Part X - 133.
In this Part,
“indication” means a signal lens display that is activated by internal illumination; (“indication”)
“road service vehicle” means a vehicle operated by or on behalf of a municipality or other authority having jurisdiction and control of a highway while the vehicle is being used for highway maintenance purposes; (“véhicule de la voirie”)
Note: On a day to be named by proclamation of the Lieutenant Governor, the definition of “road service vehicle” is repealed by the Statutes of Ontario, 1994, chapter 27, subsection 138 (11). See: 1994, c. 27, ss. 138 (11), 144.
“traffic control signal” means that part of a traffic control signal system that consists of one set of no less than three coloured lenses, red, amber and green, mounted on a frame and commonly referred to as a signal head; (“signalisation de la circulation”)
“traffic control signal system” means all of the signal equipment making up the installation at any location. (“système de panneaux de signalisation”) R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 133.
