Re: Parked facing wrong way, parking on one side only

Last week I went to my friend's house at 9.30 pm to drop off something and parked the car for 15 min. curbside and got a ticket for "parked facing the wrong way". This is a two way street in east-west direction in a residential area. The houses are on the south side of the street and parking is allowed on that side. On the north side there is ...

Re: Mto driver interview

Guys

I just got a letter in the mail from MTO. They want me to come for an interview to explain why my license should not be suspended.

Any advice?

I had one about 30 years ago.
I told him how I had just got a new car with a V-8
and now I new how to control it.

You go in and they ask for your license then ask why you deserve

Re: Disobey Sign @ Military Trail & Highcastle Rd in Sca

Hey guys, looking for some advice here.

I was on my way to school just a little over an hour ago and I got a ticket for traveling southbound on Military Trail from Highcastle Rd.

I was going down the hill, and there was a police car stopped on the unpaved shoulder and he waved for me to stop. I was puzzle as to why he wanted me to stop because I ...

I was classified at fault due to it being PI (although very minor).

the fault is not determined by amount of injury or lack thereof

Does the MTO keep this on record as my own personal 'at fault' accident regardless?

Thanks for the help.

I just went to 1 Mary Street today to let them know I want my day in court. I filled out the yellow form, now I'll just have to wait for the paperwork to arrive.

I've already taken photographs of the place where my car was parked. I took two pictures; one looking in each direction. The photographs make it clear there are no ...

I just wanted to provide a final update to this thread since I hate how many other threads end the day before court and we never get to find out how things ended up.

Yesterday I arrived in court prepared to do battle arguing legal points before the Justice. I was ready with:

1 An 11b Motion to stay due to unreasonable delay.
2) A Motion to Quash ...

Maybe I should rephrase my question.

Let's suppose I'm driving around for a place to park, and it just so happens that, like the big dummy I am, I forgot to bring with me a PDF showing me the parking restrictions on all the streets in Oshawa. Now, let's say I find a dead end side street, and park in a spot where there are no "No Parking" signs to ...

The date stamp can be set to any day you want on the camera.

There is a 2-3 inch orange light (top right of back of car)
They are supposed to flash this when about to stop.
I noticed the king car using it today.

This light is not known by all (for it's purpose) but that is what it is for.

Not sure how you could see it from where you were.
