Wow bear no wonder they are becoming more common, LED's last WAY longer to.
I wonder why TPS (toronto police service) has not yet switched.
Peel has almost fully converted over with a few old impalas with the Big old school lights.

Wow amazing i guess they cost alot, i would assume especially HSD units would have them in all cars.
Do call cars have a mounted radar unit like a Genesis 2?
Sorry i think i asked this before you guys get winter tires (H rated) and summer tires (V rated?)

Re: charged with speeding 15 kl over in process of passing
Well i guess its just Ontario plenty of other places drive with higher limits and live to tell the tale.
What does lane discipline have to do with being in a hurry?
Don't we build super highways to get places fast?
Sure bear ill manage my time. Next time i wanna to to Waterloo ill plan our like 6 hours and take a whole bunch of 50 km/hr roads ...

On a second though Racer i thought of something.
Maybee they would only use 172 on a person blocking a lane if it was a tim hortons truck plugging the middle lane and stopping others from using it. Can you imagine them impounding a whole tim hortons truck + trailer. boy ohbboyyyy
( are the contents of the trailer evidence to )

I bet every OPP officer in his area has some sort of sticky on their window or some sort of warning every time they see it.
I heard hwybear has really advanced lidar gun that starts going nuts if it see's "SPEEED" on the license plate.

Thanks Racer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I made a post on this topic and didnt get an answer.
So what gives guys.
If i go 151 i get impounded, screwed over royally, my rights to a fair trial taken away by having my car taken on the spot.
I could do this at 3:30 am on the 401 in no where land and not endanger anyone and going with the flow of traffic.

Well fire start i dont know about the HSD (highway safety division guys)
But i do believe that if someone catches a speeder and they are exceeding 180-200 (not sure).
The cop is NOT supposed to go after them and is supposed to radio down the road and mention (speeding car).
Well again FireStart if you did run.

Hwybear i know this for a fact.
by law phone companies, internet companies keep a record of everything you do for criminal purposes.
I think for phone calls and e-mails in the states it is like 6 months or something.
And phone records are way easier.

People need to make the decision themselves.
The first thing is insurance companies should not offer any coverage on claims for those who get into accidents while talking on a cellular phone.
That there, would be more powerful than any silly law or device they could come up with.
On highways, cell phone users should be in right lanes.

Why are some so worried about raising the limit.
Lots of other countries drive 120-130 on old shitty roads.
Infact the MTO can go put the limit to 180 if they want to.
