Re: Early Morning Photo OPP B&W

Wow bear no wonder they are becoming more common, LED's last WAY longer to.

I wonder why TPS (toronto police service) has not yet switched.

Peel has almost fully converted over with a few old impalas with the Big old school lights.

Mind you peel is starting to buy crown vics again.

They seemed to go on Charger Mania back in 06-07 and now i see ...

Re: Early Morning Photo OPP B&W

Wow amazing i guess they cost alot, i would assume especially HSD units would have them in all cars.

Do call cars have a mounted radar unit like a Genesis 2?

Sorry i think i asked this before you guys get winter tires (H rated) and summer tires (V rated?)

Anyways that neat i thought you guys would get budgets so all cars would have a computer ...

Re: charged with speeding 15 kl over in process of passing

Well i guess its just Ontario plenty of other places drive with higher limits and live to tell the tale.

What does lane discipline have to do with being in a hurry?

Don't we build super highways to get places fast?

Sure bear ill manage my time. Next time i wanna to to Waterloo ill plan our like 6 hours and take a whole bunch of 50 km/hr roads ...

Re: charged with speeding 15 kl over in process of passing

On a second though Racer i thought of something.

Maybee they would only use 172 on a person blocking a lane if it was a tim hortons truck plugging the middle lane and stopping others from using it. Can you imagine them impounding a whole tim hortons truck + trailer. boy ohbboyyyy  ( are the contents of the trailer evidence to )

Re: Horrible behaviour

Haha its just to funny bookm.

I bet every OPP officer in his area has some sort of sticky on their window or some sort of warning every time they see it.

I heard hwybear has really advanced lidar gun that starts going nuts if it see's "SPEEED" on the license plate.

Bookm have you ever gone into a Tim Hortons or have an OPP officer met you in ...

In Which Lane?

The right or the left.

In the left lane, yes you would indeed be the problem.

Re: charged with speeding 15 kl over in process of passing

Thanks Racer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I made a post on this topic and didnt get an answer.

So what gives guys.

If i go 151 i get impounded, screwed over royally, my rights to a fair trial taken away by having my car taken on the spot.

I could do this at 3:30 am on the 401 in no where land and not endanger anyone and going with the flow of traffic.

But ...

Re: Early Morning Photo OPP B&W

Thanks bear.

Your right never thought about that. But with a bike you can avoid those fines and just drive on the dirt and around the camera's

I was just making a reference on roads like the 400 or the 407 with many lanes and big shoulders some guys on bikes might get the idea its better to run then stop.

You know i always wondered ...

Re: Bikes and SUV's?

Hahahaha a bicycle.

Thats a great one can you imagine trying to pedal after a speeder on the 407 :P.

I heard they only give the bikes to the fat cops.

I did mean a motorcycle, sorry. Beside GTA is only HSD for OPP.

Thanks bear. Because this vehicle is always parked at the Mississauga detachment.

It is 100 % pure white with nothing to ...

Re: charged with speeding 15 kl over in process of passing

Speaking of that video about what 6 or 7 trucks race around him?

Maybee he is the problem and not everyone else, i wonder if he ever thinks of that while he sits there filming his video and that everyone else has to race around them and his ignorance.

I wonder if those trucks that camp in the middle lane at 105 ever realize this as everyone has ...

Bikes and SUV's?

In Mississauga today managed to see an OPP bicycle waiting on an off ramp?

What is the point of these really? Do they actually use them much.

Went by the detachment i must have seen the weirdest looking OPP vehicle ever.

It was a Huge White Honda Pilot 2006-2009 model.

It was a big white vehicle, it did have a light bar on the top (led one ...

Re: Early Morning Photo OPP B&W

Haha sorry i meant the next detachment for 75 km.

I am sure it happens. Its a different story with bikes.

I am sure even in traffic they can just go onto the shoulder or squeeze between trucks.

IMO to drive a 1000 CC sport bike your probally already a pretty edgy person, getting a fine for thousands, crazy insurance increase, and getting your ...

Re: Early Morning Photo OPP B&W

Just another tid bit.

I have no idea but i assume that it must be hard to get a reading for say (in the dark, dark colored sport bike with no plate on the front)

Do you guys have less range for getting a reading on a bike with a radar and or lidar unit?

Sorry my last post was really long.

To make it simpler, lets say its 3 am on the 401 and you ...

Re: Early Morning Photo OPP B&W

Well fire start i dont know about the HSD (highway safety division guys)

But i do believe that if someone catches a speeder and they are exceeding 180-200 (not sure).

The cop is NOT supposed to go after them and is supposed to radio down the road and mention (speeding car).

Well again FireStart if you did run.

Mind you once you get the plates ...
