When ABS is activated it does allow for steering. Non-ABS brakes OR ABS not activated will not allow you to steer.

Re: Toronto Fire Service driving to a call

Now wonder if those that were passed by the fire truck now complain the fire truck went roaring by me, then stopped and no need to drive like that.

Easily see the reason a lot of driver distractions should be removed out of the car.

Some people have no "flippin" clue to move the "flip" out of the way.

(18 ) Every driver approaching a traffic control signal showing a circular red indication and facing the indication shall stop his or her vehicle and shall not proceed until a green indication is shown

Exception – turn

Re: Legality of Aircraft for Speeding

This is because the judge ruled that... I'm going to paraphrase... that since the aircraft was timing a car between two fixed points, they could not pinpoint any exact speed at any given point in time. Further that the "average speed" was not sufficient to sustain the charge and therefore that "average speed" was essentially not viable..

I do ...

if any...good news....it is 10 points for an Quebec driver.....Ontario applies it as a conviction "50km/hr over the posted speed limit" which is 6 points. See, just saved you 4 points, probably not what you wanted to hear.

add to your notes > description of driver, include age, facial hair, glasses, type of hat if any, colour shirt, any other occupants, cellphone in hand, blue tooth on ear.....was there a GPS on windshield....all just minor details, but will strengthen the statement.

We are not allowed to give a "copy" of any part of a manual to anyone as it is a copyrighted. We have provided a manual at the court for someone to peruse thru if their so intent.

What about the typed notes. How can I request that after a prosecutor has flat denied me them because he "doesn't ever ask for his officer to type notes"

JP says: "You are not entitled to the radar manual, and based on case laws that I've decided on in the past, you need to do your research, come back on Sep 3"

 Most JPs have not been to law school, obviously this one hasn't either and hasn't done his research, either. Many people on this forum are more familiar with case law and precedent ...

Re: Failure to Ensure Passenger Wearing Seat Belt for G2 Driver

Hold on a sec. No seatbelt (passenger) carries 2 demerit points and a warning letter from MTO for G1/G2 drivers. Why was her license suspended? Did you read the letter wrong or does she have other convictions?

Has to be other convictions....G1/G2 are allowed to "collect" 6 points!!

bookm...I would have also charged each passenger for "consuming ...
