Re: How to file an 11B

Thanks Radar Identified - but how can we fax such a large document? More-over do we not need their stamp on all other copies of the 11B? I've made 6 copies following the guidelines on this thread, but the books are so large I dont see how we could fax it or get them to stamp all our other copies.

So you can see from the directions we are to make ...

Re: My experience at Queen St court house

Two minutes later he came back and asked if I had my ticket, I gave it to him and he said "I go with the last 3 digits, looks like I got the wrong book"
I was not sure what that meant, then he went on to say it is better for you, I said "I'm not sure what that means" playing dumb, this is when he tells me that he does not have his evidence and he ...

Hi Simon,

I'm afraid I didn't understand. If I choose option 3 (plead not guilty), that means I will have the chance to enter a defense at the trial, right?

Re: Speeding excuses

I've also heard of one instance where a person was rushing his dog to the veterinary clinic. Again, ticketed at roadside, dog survived, case went to court, JP ruled "defence of necessity" and found the defendant not guilty.

I also heard about one of the cases above. However, does it have to be determined that the driver was speeding ...

Re: Speeding excuses

For example, you're on the middle lane doing 100.

You'd like to pass a truck. You change to the left lane and accelerate to 115 to pass it.

You get a ticket for 15 over 100.

What's your defense here?

Re: Markham Rd East Courthouse

Also, since my ticket was for a fail to stop at stop sign, im entering university next year and will be strained for time, what do you think my chances are for having a successful 11b motion?

I think there's a phone number on the back of the ticket.

If they set the trial 11 months after the ticket was issued, then you're chances for an 11b are ...

Re: Markham Rd East Courthouse

I think they're pretty much backed. When I was there in a court room back in December of 2010 I saw people pleading guilty for tickets issued in July/September of 2009, that's more than 14 months.

Did you request a date for trial in person?

Is there anyway I know the police will show up or not before the trail starts. I do not think the prosector will let me know until the trail starts. Thanks.

Can OP ask JP to quash the case?

Or is a motion also needed for that?

Re: Disobey Sign Fail to stop at Pemberton Ave and Kenneth A

Hi Radar,
Thanks for your suggestion and I have the following questions.
Q1) My charge was on Apr 21, 2010 and I went to court plead not guilty on May 03, 2010. Wihich date will the court use to count
the days ? Since the trial day is March 29, 2011 and if they use May 03, 2010, it is not 11 months yet. Can I still file an
11B ?
Q2) If I am ...
