Re: How to file an 11B
I live in Markham near and I'm wonder does it matter which Ontario Court of Justice office, Provincial Offences Act Office that I go to? I got my ticket downtown but I don't want to drive all the way downtown to serve them can I just go to the Markham easy office?
Second question is can I also serve the Prosecution Office in the Markham East ...

What about stopping you while you're walking down the sidewalk.
You did absolutely wrong, but he stops you and asks for ID.
can you politely refuse by asking the officer the following two questions?
- officer, am I being detained?
- If not, may I resume walking?

Re: Ticketed despite wearing a seat belt
Here I made the second mistake by trying to explain to him that I had been wearing my belt all along and that I had just taken it off. He thought that I was lying and gave me a $240 ticket. I went to court with this to sort it out with the prosecutor, but she did'nt accept my plea of not guilty.

Just to clarify something, if you're involved in an accident, you should only share insurance info with other driver, never your driver's license, right?

Things happened quickly with the insurance company after that. They found me 0% at fault within a few days, and I did get back the value of my car at the time of the loss.
Congratulations.

Did he reduce the ticket or were you really doing 51 on 50? Can't believe that.cluelessInTO wrote:I was given a speeding ticket for 51 in a 50. Should I go to court and hope the cop doesn't show up or just pay? There are no points and the fine is less than $20 but i'm worried about my insurance going up. While it's possible to maintain control of a vehicle with a blown tire, it's an infrequent and sudden event .
The OP said it was a left rear blow out, very easy to control.
I think it's the opposite. Rear wheels are important to keep the car in track and avoid spinning.

I would like to clarify one thing:
If you chose option (3) and at the trial date you accept the prosecutor's offer by pleading guilty with a lesser fine, are you sure they won't send this conviction to MTO?
In other words, won't insurance companies know about this?

Is the left-turn green arrow facing incoming traffic? So that means you cannot turn right if incoming cars have the left-green arrow? The examiner explained the reason I failed was because I made a right-hand turn at an intersection where a solid red light AND a left-turn green arrow were both showing.
