So I have sent three (3!) requests of disclosure by fax (June, August and early December) and haven't received a reply yet.
My first response before reading your thread was to make sure you've sent it more than once. Bring your fax sheets showing the number, the date, and that it was sent successfully.
Be prepared for excuses and on the spot ...

Re: 72 km/h in a 50 zone, reduced to 65km/h
By fighting it, there is a possibility it could get worse (increased to 72) which is my reservation about taking it to trial.
Correct, if it goes all the way to trial. It's not just a possibility, it's almost guaranteed.
Also, if it does get increased, I'll get 3 demerit points; does this affect my insurance any differently than no points ...

My mistake. I read that part differently. The OP was only charged for failing to have proof of insurance, which is typically a $50 fine.

Re: please help, in so much trouble =(
Driving while suspended = Minimum $1000-$5000 fine. 6 month suspension.
Handheld device = $60-$500.00
Driving without insurance = $5000+
Wrong way = 3 demerit points and a fine
Plus I believe you still have to take care of the ticket in which you were suspended for. Seeing how you've been a G2 driver for less than 4 months, I suggest you start ...

Re: Driving under suspension conviction mess. Help.
The prosecutor said he wanted the minimum $1000.
Correct. The fine is $1000 - $5000.
The judge agreed and also granted me time to pay. The end. No where in the 'sentencing' did they mention getting suspended. I left, licence in hand and drove home.
The automatic penalty for driving under a suspended license is an extra 6 months.

Re: Trial vs. Early meeting
any advice? please!
Request a trial. If you request a trial, all your options remain open. You can plead guilty, you can still come to an early resolution, or you can have a trial. A lot of people think that if they request a trial, they'll immediately be put on the stand and duke it out. It isn't the case. 99% of people who request a trial show ...

Re: I was wrongfully accused!
So, if I go into the office and request a trial and file for disclosure. The disclosure is the ticket information that the officer write down, pictures etc so I can use that information for my trial?
Thank you, sorry I'm a newbie.

Re: I was wrongfully accused!
Parking tickets usually have the make of the vehicle, 2 door/4 door, and sticker info. Was any of this enclosed with your letter?
As for whether it's worth fighting or not, the answer with parking tickets is usually no.
None of that was enclosed in the letter. Maybe they have that information on file somewhere at their office. I could go to ...

Yes, the technology exists. Nothing is ever 100%, but you can get pretty close.
The amount of information available on your vehicles ECU as it runs is quite extensive. While it'll hold certain information like check engine codes, it won't tell you how fast you were traveling last Monday. It does however have this information available in real-time ...

Good Morning:
Thank you for your reply last evening and from what you said, it appears that you agree with me that this is an unfair ticket and that I would have a good case to fight against this. May I ask if you are actually with the Ontario Highway Traffic Act body, or are you an independent person just trying to help people like me? What would ...

Thank you for your reply. I am still not clear though about the placement of the Fire Route sign only on one side of the road. The direction and side of the road I parked, there was no sign. I only today saw it on the opposite side of the road. Is having it posted only on one side sufficient to indicate to drivers that it also applies to the other ...
