I got a speeding ticket a that I am fighting. The officer used a Truspeed Lti 20/20 Lidar gun. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a copy the manual. The only copy I can find is for the UK. I am looking for a North American one or better yet one for Canada.

What ever copy that you found online will be inadmissible in court. Once you get your trial date, you can submit a disclosure request to the prosecutor's office asking for a copy of the manual. They may only give you the testing pages, and if you want to see the entire manual; you may have to setup an appointment at their office to review it. I personally was sent the entire copy via e-mail

They sent me the calibration pages also. I was hoping more to create a few hypothetical situation questions that I could ask to see how the officer used it based on what I read in a manual. For example; Me: Is the Lidar supposed to make a noise once it correctly gets a reading? Officer: Yes Me: And what would that noise be? Officer: not sure Me: Therefore you are uncertain that the Lidar gave a correct reading? Yes or no? Anyhow, any chance you still have the manual kicking around?
