The bus driver should use some common sense.
In this case if he/she wants to stop there it should be in the middle of the intersection so everyone has to stop.
The school bus drivers have to be among the worst drivers on the road.
(for thier profession)
Just today I was going 110 on HY401 my speed 110kph I got passed by 2 school buses.(the limit ...

Re: Failing to Remain
you have 48 hours to go to the collision reporting center.
b/c there are no reporting centres in my area, where does the 48hrs come from? I have not found this timeline anywhere in the HTA. Thought it was still soon as practicable as a collision reporting centre was to free up traffic from unnecessary blockages by damaged vehicles?
I thought ...

Re: Failing to Remain
I was backing out of my driveway and i struck my neighbours car which was parked on the road. I panicked and drove to another street and parked to car to think about what just happened. My neighbour saw the accident and went to my house and I soon returned (in approximately 10-20 minutes). I talked to my neighbour and he said he had already called ...

Maybe this has been answered before and if so I apologise for doing so again. Here goes:
Sold my vehicle the other day and removed plates. Want to buy another used one today ( Sunday). MTO closed. Can I put on my old plates and use my ownership and insurance slip till Monday so that I can drive the vehicle?

Re: Careless driving, no accident, no injury, please help
It was around 7:30 pm I was driving to catch a train. It was 60 Km zone. Police charged me with careless driving.
I'm so shocked with that. There is no way he gave me ticket because i was speeding because there was enough cars on that road. The only thing I did that I cut few cars but with proper indication. Another thing I remember is that when ...

It doesn't matter what charge they get or not.babygirlz05 wrote:Just a thought and was wondering,
can the person still be charged even after the incident?
Thanks again for your help
Comprehensive covers it.(less deductible)
No issue to your fees.
It is not a liability case so no increase in insurance fee.
If you need more info ask

Re: Should I go to trail for fail to share roadway?
I am on a M2 licence.
I turned from the leftmost lane to the rightmost lane to enter a store on a road - not highway. I know I was wrong and unlucky too as a cop pulled me over straight after.
I know that this will give me 2 demerit points!
Is it worth challenging the ticket completely - plead not guilty, plead guilty and beg to not add ...

So I was driving today in pouring rain, so visibility was pretty bad, and out of nowhere someone jumps on the road and shows his hand, now I went around him and kept driving but then I thought about it and think it might of been a cop hiding with a speed trap? he was wearing all dark clothes however with a hat so i didnt think it was a cop, I just ...

Re: Being towed from parking in my own driveway
Too late. those SOBs came and took the car out of my driveway.
I looked out the window and saw the tow truck, and ran downstairs and hopped into my car. I told them they were on private property and ordered them to leave, to no avail. They just hooked up the vehicle with me in it. one of the police officers present threatened to break the windows ...

Re: Improper Passing or Careless Driving?
Just because your bike is a lot faster then the other cars you still have to be aware of the road.
The trailer hauler was looking for his exit..
You pulled out and you didn't even guess what was going on.
(you have to take in the big picture as if you were above watching it from above)
You were careless.
Did you cross a solid line?
If so ...

Re: Improper Passing or Careless Driving?
Several months ago, I was on my motorcycle and went to pass two vehicles at the same time. The front car was driving roughly 60kph in an 80kph zone (and had been for 5+ minutes). The car behind it (a uhaul truck) was not going to pass, so I went for it. The driver of the front vehicle, without signalling, turned left and a significant accident ...
