Re: Legality of Aircraft for Speeding
I don't really see a problem with that, because if your average speed was over the limit on a stretch as a whole, then it must have been over the speed limit at at least one point of time. Given that the stretch is 100 m, then at 120 km/h it will take you less than 3 seconds to traverse the 100 m stretch. In your own example, you would have been ...

If that is any consolation, the AF will probably see insurance rate hikes of well over the stated value of the Escort you're driving!

It might be a tad late, but, as a standard practice, you need to file a disclosure. You might be able to make a point to extend the court date due to the fact that you only found out about the disclosure today, and have the court date rescheduled. File for it, www.ticketcombat.com has an excellent sample disclosure request form. This is the cop's ...

Hmmm, very interesting, they referred you to Young Drivers. Those are the most expensive driver's ed courses I saw when I was looking for one. I ended up paying $500, when YD wanted $800 (for the dubious privilege of driving in a Toyota Camry instead of Chevy Cobalt, I think)

Actually, NO ONE does traffic enforcement like the Ohio State Police. (Actually I guess it's the Ohio State Highway Patrol or something like that.) They ticket for as little as 2 MPH over the limit. They use aerial surveillance way more than the OPP. They go out in marked and unmarked cruisers and drive 1 MPH over the posted speed limit. Anyone ...

Most driver ed courses are held on weekends, and consist of 4 in-class lessons (25 hours altogether) and 10 driving lessons, which you can schedule with the instructor according to your schedule. I took one. Helps insurance rates...
A quick question: how old are you? If you are a younger driver (<25), your insurance might actually decrease.

Ohhh, that will be not a "pizza face" but a "pizza body". Bel would also have to have enough body strength to deliver 12000 punches, or 1000 punches per round. That's 5-6 hits per second. Bel would probably get the nickname "Helicopter" after that!tdrive2 wrote:1 Hit for every unconstitutional road side trial !

I would suggest you fight the ticket anyways. You can plea-bargain to have it dropped to 15 over (no points). Paralegals (like X-Copper, which can be contacted by the form on the bottom of the page) might get rid of it altogether, and you don't have to take a day off work to go to court either.

If you had your vehicle impounded, then you were charged with "Racing" (ss 172), which is even more serious than just simple "Speeding 50+". RI has some excellent points, follow the advice.
PS: I moved the post to "Racing" category to reflect proper charge.

No, you do not need to order the trial in French for that purpose. If you speak French, however, you can ask for the trial to be held in French anyways - that should give you more time to prepare.

I did some google search, and google came up with capacity of 60 Amp-Hours at 12 V for a standard battery.
12 V x 60 Ah = 720 Watt-Hours, which could power up my desktop with a monitor for a good 2 hours lol.
Should a spare battery be installed, that would double the capacity of the batteries. I dunno what the equipment draws, but my estimates ...

You can file for disclosure by either coming in person or by sending letter to the courthouse on the back of the ticket. Same address for "earliest possible trial".

Their roads are *EDIT*, and in the two years I lived in Detroit I blew three tires, wrecked my suspension and even cracked an axle. Granted, it was an older car, but driving on some roads (Michigan Avenue, I-696, the Lodge Freeway until they re-paved it, etc) was like getting thrown in a paint shaker. People have literally blown airbags going over ...
